Philosophy of Insights Into ArtistryTM
As we advance in this dynamic art-form, we continue to learn. We strive to be well versed in the latest trends and developments. We seek to explore new ideas and champion those innovations. With a solid musical foundation, we strive for:
Consistency in technique
Insightful interpretation
Sensitivity in musical expression, and
Visually engaging presentations.
We meet people where they’re at and share what we know through all the senses, addressing the various learning styles - kinesthetic, tactile, sensory, auditory, visual - through methodical application. By our example and in our teaching, we seek to share this journey with others.
We invite you to share this journey with us.
Teaching Accreditations
Twin Cities Bronze prides itself on being at the forefront of education in the handbell medium. By attending workshops and seminars, members gain practical experiences and reinforcement of their own knowledge base. Through reading and research of the latest discussions and publications of the handbell world at large, members stay current in the latest techniques, teaching methods and proven course instruction.
The Mission of Twin Cities Bronze is two-fold: education and performance. To that end, Twin Cities Bronze formed an Education Committee to meet the increasing needs of our educational goals and those contracting our services. This committee collaboratively brings together over 100 years of teaching and ringing experience coupled with research, ideas, the newest developments and experiences from the handbell community at large. This committee meets to review and revise curriculum, enhance our teaching methods, critique past workshop experiences, and improve workshop structure. Members of the Education Committee are from all levels and aspects of professional teaching: elementary, secondary, adult, music, and technology. Our materials are regularly tested and our content is reviewed for consistency to give you the highest value for your time and resources.
